Jay Lee, Ph.D.
is the President and
principle of B.Y. Lee & Associates. Over the last 30 years, Dr. Lee has
successfully consulted with over 100 diverse organizations in a variety of areas
including: strategic planning, organizational performance, evaluation and
outcome measurements, marketing, managed care contracting,
accreditation/licensure compliance, and HR/EAP. In addition to his own
consulting firm, Dr. Lee served from 1996-2002 as the Chief Operating Officer of
Osprey Health Care; the largest behavioral health provider network in Palm Beach
County, Florida. He has professional experience in the behavioral
healthcare and human services field as a therapist, EAP consultant, clinical
director, hospital administrator, and healthcare educator. Dr. Lee has served as
an instructor for the FBI medical services as well as an adjunct faculty member
in the Health Care Administration departments at LYNN University and NOVA
University. Jay is currently a member of the Society for
Human Resources Management (SHRM), the national Alliance for Nonprofit
Management, International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF) and
The Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA). Dr. Lee holds a
doctorate degree in Health Care Administration and a master’s degree in
sociology.
Carla B. Neumann, MS, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 20 years of clinical and management experience. Carla holds a masters degree from Nova University with areas of specialty in human services program development, grant writing, clinical training/supervision, and children’s behavioral health delivery systems. One of Ms. Neumann's special training focuses is in Effective Stress Management Strategies. Ms. Neumann recent consulting has included work with: the Parent-Child Center, Inc., Western Palm Beach County Mental Health Clinic, Family Behavioral Resources of Penn., Family Hope, Destiny By Choice, Inc. and Catholic Charities.
David P. McVinney, MPS, CAP has over fifteen years of clinical and administration experience in chemical dependency treatment. David is a graduate of Barry University with a degree in Liberal Studies and holds a Masters of Professional Studies with distinction in Human Relations from the New York Institute of Technology. David is a Certified Addictions Professional and President of the Florida NAADAC; and currently serves as Chairperson of the Palm Beach Community College Business Partnership Council and is an adjunct faculty member at the Palm Beach Community College. In addition to being affiliated with our consulting team, Mr. McVinney is the executive director of the Palm Beach Institute in West Palm Beach, FL.
Eric A. Gordon, Esq., is a partner in the Litigation Department of the Boca Raton, FL office of Arnstein & Lehr LLP. He has extensive litigation experience in labor and employment law. More recently, his focus has been in defending international, national and local companies in litigating employment matters; including Title VII, § 1981, the ADA, the ADEA, the FMLA, the FLSA, and the Florida Civil Rights Act. Other areas of employment law Eric is involved include: investigation and response to Charges of Discrimination; legal compliance audits of client workplace; employees and management training; employment policy manuals and employee handbooks; and hiring, terminations, discipline and reductions in force. Mr. Gordon has successfully defended numerous corporate clients at both the trial and appellate levels in lawsuits involving millions of dollars. Mr. Gordon’s professional activities and achievements include: American Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Committee, Member; Florida Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Committee, Member; Palm Beach County Bar Association, Member; South Palm Beach County Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Committee, Co-Chair; Society for Human Resource Management, Member; and Human Resource Association of Palm Beach County, Chair.
Thomas J. Christiansen, Ph. D. is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with 25 years of clinical experience, as well as over 10 years of senior management experience working with one of the largest behavioral health organizations in Palm Beach County, FL. In addition to his extensive clinical and management experience, Dr. Christiansen is a recognized leader in the design and delivery of behavioral health systems of care. Dr. Christiansen’s expertise include: grant writing, Joint Commission of Accreditation of Hospital Organizations (JCAHO) accreditation implementation and compliance, provider network development, performance measurement systems, strategic planning, utilization management and quality improvement systems.
Sheila Noel, BS is a Human Resource professional, specializing in organizational development services. Ms. Noel is a graduate of Michigan State University and began her career over 17 years ago finding Human Resource solutions in the healthcare industry. Ms. Noel builds and implements effective customized training, organizational development, and executive coaching programs that encourage collaboration. She is a co-author of many hiring workbooks and success guides and a sought after presenter. She delivers on topics ranging from Identifying Leaders in Your Organization to Customer Service Assurance and Merging Teams during Ownership Change to Reach, and Grow Personal Styles to Foster Superior Teams. In addition to her experience and skills as a instructor and speaker, Sheila excels at facilitating large group dynamics, one-on-one feedback sessions, and executive coaching. Ms. Noel serves on the Board of the Human Resources Society of Palm Beach County and as an active member in the National Society for Human Resources. She has served as an adjunct professor to the Hudson Institute of Entrepreneurship and Executive Education. Caren Hackman, BID, is a successful graphic designer, with over twenty years of experience in helping organizations effectively communicate with their customers. Caren’s vast experience in both print and electronic design media insures her clients’ needs are met. Caren also has extensive experience and originality in website design. Ms. Hackman received her Bachelor of Industrial Design (BID) degree from Syracuse University.
